Free Salary Estimator
Pick your role, experience level and location to get an estimated salary range — adjusted for local market rates and in-demand skills. Instant, free and private. Useful for negotiating offers and planning your next move.
In-demand skills you actually have (optional, boosts estimate)
The estimator combines published median compensation for 16 role families at six experience levels, adjusted by a city-level market factor and an in-demand-skills premium. Expect it to land within roughly ±15–20% of a realistic market offer for your profile — treat the range, not the midpoint, as the answer.
Each role family has a US-benchmarked median at your experience band. We scale that median by your city's market factor (cost of living plus local supply/demand), apply a seniority multiplier and add up to 25% for scarce skills like AI/ML or cybersecurity. The result is shown as a low–mid–high range.
We map both. Choose the band that matches your actual scope of work, not just calendar years — someone with 4 years at senior scope will out-earn the 'junior' band median. If your title and years disagree, go with the responsibilities you handle day to day.
Location drives both cost of living and talent competition. A senior engineer median is roughly 2x higher in San Francisco than the US average and around 6–8x higher than tier-2 India — same job, different market. Remote roles typically land near the national average of the hiring company's country.
Gross annual cash compensation (base plus typical bonus), before tax. Use the monthly figure as a gross budget guide; your take-home depends on country tax rules, deductions and benefits like equity or PF.
